Shipping Policy

All items are produced in South Africa. Orders are shipped via courier and shipping cost is at a flat rate of R150 for delivery within South Africa. Delivery is FREE for orders totalling R5000 or more. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation of fulfilment with tracking information. Standard delivery times are within 5-10 business days after receipt of payment. 

We usually deliver within South Africa, however we open to ship outside of South Africa. Delivery rates and time may differ for international orders, depending on the location. For international orders we use standard delivery anywhere in the world using different couriers (such as DHL, UPS or FedEx) depending on your location.  Any imports duties, taxes and customs or clearance charges that are payable in the recipient's country are solely the responsibility of the recipient. The additional fees will not be the responsibility of NGINGU should you wish to cancel any order or return any goods. NGINGU cannot take responsibility for customs and clearance delays or failed payments, though we'll try to minimise any potential delays. Please allow 14-21 business days delivery time after your order is ready to be shipped.

Return Policy

We have a 14 days return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item(s) to request a return.

To be eligible for the return, your item(s) must be in the same condition that you received it, unwashed, unworn, unaltered and/or unused, with original labels, tags and stickers attached. 

To return, you can email us or fill in the contact form. If your return is accepted, we'll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refund Policy

Once we've received and inspected your return, we will let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please be aware it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. Please also wait 3 weeks to receive and process your return. 

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receiving and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

Exchange

Once approved for return and refunded, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Pre-Order Policy

Pre-order item are items that are not available from physical/online shop.  Pre-order means that an item is available to purchase but not yet ready to ship. Products that are available to be pre-ordered will be launched at a certain date or time.

Our Pre-orders are produced in South Africa and are normally made to order (production beginning after confirmation of order). Production of pre-order item(s) is estimated to take approximately 4 weeks after receipt of payment.

Placing orders in advance requires full payment from customer interested in procuring the said item/product. NGINGU is a ready-to-wear brand, therefore items are sold as they are, and no changes or costumization of the item(s) will be available or offered by the brand.   

Cancellation of Pre-orders are not allowed once the order has been submitted and paid, nor can it be exchanged for other items or services once production of the order has begun. 

A notification will be sent through email once a purchase has been made and approved for pre-order. Once order of item(s) is ready for shipping, you will be notified. 

Pre-ordered items can be returned after being received by the customer, provided that they followed the standards of the return policy.
